We had a nice easy morning, only having to leave for Ptuj at 3:30pm :) this hotel is so nice! Had breakfast here nom nom nom, and then trekked out to see the beautiful city. There's so much more greenery here out of the city center, such a nice change from the Vienna. We walked through Tivoli park, and eventually got to Prešernov Square. Saw the Triple bridge, the Dragon bridge, and a cute open air market. This place seems much more tourist friendly than Vienna! After oohing and ahhing at the Dragon Bridge for a bit, we trekked up to the Castle, from which there is an awesome view of Ljublijana. Areas of Slovenia have been settled in since 2000BC! In the museum we saw some tools used etc. Met back up with Anne and Liz who has disappeared, and went back to the square to do some H&Ming. Win. It got to about 30 degrees today! Amazing! Today we went to Ptuj for our concert, the oldest part of Slovenia. We played at another outdoors venue, and they fed us nomming food in a room that reminded me of Medieval movies. Sweet deal. Had a bit of a walk around after dinner and man this place was beautiful. They had a castle too but didn't have time to go up. Got back into Ljubljana at 1:30am again... Might be heading to the Water Park today, or else checking out Mestni Square :)
